Refund & Cancellation Policy

Same-day response or voice/video call service.

Refund Terms

  • Service completed or begun: Non-refundable

💼 Custom Development & Asset Creation

Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit required to begin work (non-refundable once project starts)
  • 50% balance due upon completion of project
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue date

Cancellation Policy

  • Before work starts: Full deposit refund
  • During active work: Client owes remaining balance minus refund of unused portion (estimated)
  • Upon completion: No refund (deliverables provided)
  • Revision rounds: Included as outlined in contract; additional revisions billed separately

Scope Changes

If project scope changes significantly after work begins, we'll discuss and adjust the quote accordingly. Changes must be approved before implementation.

⚠️ Manual Payment Requirements

🚨 Important: Provide Matching Information

If you pay manually (Cash App, Bitcoin, Bank Transfer, etc.) and do NOT provide your Discord username, email, or other identifying information in the payment note/memo, I will not be able to match your payment to your booking request.

In this case, you will automatically receive a full refund within 5-10 business days, and your booking will not be confirmed.

How to Ensure Payment is Matched

  • Include your name in the payment note/memo
  • Include your Discord username (preferred)
  • OR include the email you used for booking
  • Mention the service type (Tutoring, Priority Chat, etc.)

💡 Example Payment Note

"Payment for tutoring - Joseph#1234 (Discord)" or "Priority chat - joseph@email.com"

What Happens If Payment Can't Be Matched

If I receive a payment but cannot identify who sent it (no Discord, email, or name provided), I will:

  1. Wait 7 days for you to contact me with proof of payment
  2. If no contact is made, issue a full refund to your original payment method
  3. Close the unmatched booking request

Contact me immediately if this happens: DM me on Discord or email with your transaction receipt and booking details.

💳 Stripe Payments

Automatic Refunds

Stripe payments are automatically processed and verified. Refunds (if approved) are issued automatically to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Refund Status

You'll receive an email confirmation when a refund is issued. Check your bank or payment app for the credit to appear.

How to Request a Refund

  • Contact me via Discord DM or email within 7 days of the transaction
  • Provide your transaction receipt or booking details
  • Explain your refund reason
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days after approval

When Refunds Are NOT Issued

  • Service already completed (tutoring session held, work delivered)
  • Cancellation with less than required notice period
  • No-show without advance notice
  • Work in progress where significant time was invested

Disputes

If you have a dispute about a charge or refund, contact me first. If we cannot resolve it, you may file a dispute with your payment processor (bank, Stripe, PayPal, etc.). I comply with all payment processor dispute resolution processes.
